New Years Eve in Santa Ynez Valley
New Years Eve in Santa Ynez Valley
Whether you can’t wait for this year to be over, or you are excited for the start of a new year, you are in luck because New Years Eve is upon us! There are precious few days left to make good on last year’s resolutions and make your party plans for this year. To help make that process easier, we’ve gathered together the best New Years parties across Santa Ynez Valley for you to enjoy.
If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to ring in a new decade 80’s style, then you are in luck! The Molly Ringwald Project is performing at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton on Dec 31st, starting at 8pm. You can dance if you want to… or rock out in your own way. And if you get hungry like a wolf, the Marriot will also have a taco bar, you just can’t Beat It!
If you do not want to gamble on whether or not you will have an awesome New Years Eve, the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez is a sound bet. Continuing their annual tradition of ringing in the new year Rock ‘n Roll style, you can dance and sing the night away with The Spazmatics and The Boogie Knights. They embrace the festivities with a beautifully decorated showroom, party favors, and a confetti filled midnight countdown! Doors open at 9pm.
The Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez is also hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration that kicks off at 9pm. You can party like it’s 2019 (is that as cool as partying like it’s 1999?), enjoy great music and greet the new decade with a free champagne toast at midnight.
Do you love to party, but also like to be in bed early? Us too, that’s why we are happy to share the Wandering Dog Wine Bar’s annual “East Coast Toast” party in Solvang! This year they are theming around the roaring 2020s, and you can expect a celebration with dancing, seasonal treats and sparkling wine. Here comes the best part: it all happens 7pm -10pm because they are celebrating the midnight ball drop in the eastern time zone. Everyone wins!
Solvang is celebrating Dansk New Year at 3pm on Dec. 31st with a live simulcast of all the New Year celebrations from Tivolli Gardens in Copenhagen. A unique way to celebrate the new year, and the closest you can get to a time machine!
If you are feeling especially clever, or you just love to party, you could celebrate New Years three times this year (celebrating in Solvang for Dansk New year, at the Wandering Dog for East coast USA, and then rock out at the Marriott for West Coast New Years). What a great way to celebrate the start of a brand new decade!
